D.I.M., also known as Andreas Meid, is a Berlin based DJ and producer, considered by many as a real “Electro hero”. Having been in the music business for 15 years already, his substantial work includes many acclaimed remixes of Depeche Mode, The Presets, Chromeo, Fisherspooner, Midnight Juggernauts, Teenage Bad Girl and The Faint, which makes him one of the most requested remix artist on the planet. Everyone from Sven Vath to Justice fell in love with the D.I.M. sound, not to mention his production partner and long-time friend Boys Noize.
From North to South, East to West, D.I.M. already played in any corner and dancefloors of the world! His most successful song to date was the remarkable “Is You” on Boysnoize Records, which directly charted no. 1 on the Beatport all over ranking, and remains a club favorite for techno and electro heads. Besides his successful tunes on BNR, he also produced and released on Tiga’s Turbo label, back in 2007, “Airbus” and “Sysiphos” which were two of the most acclaimed dance tracks of the year. The 2010 track “Kleine Träume” was another blissful smack, as well as the wild and playful “Ion”.
